Create and Share Powerful Activist Poetry

Learn strategies to write and share powerful activist poetry and lyrics in ways that engage your readers’ and listeners’ hearts and minds. This intermediate level workshop will focus on writing during and between classes and receiving responses to work. You’ll also learn how to create and post visually interesting poems on Instagram and perform your poetry effectively in person and on Zoom. Finally, participants will share their new poems as featured readers at Loganberry or an online poetry reading series.

Over her career, she has been a poet, teacher, activist, glass artist, and filmmaker.
