Understanding a Child’s Grief: Community Resources to Help Deal with Loss
It’s hard to handle losing someone you love when you’re an adult, so imagine what that must be like for a young person. When a child experiences a loss, it’s often difficult for them, and the adults around them, to make sense of it. But now there’s help.
Teachers, counselors and parents are invited to:
Learn how to recognize and respond to a grieving child
Learn about the new CJE grief resource and book collection
Featuring JCS Grief Specialist Donna Kane, M.A.
