Join Twende Solar to learn more about our partners, The Community Project: Ethiopia, and the electrification project for Wogagen "First Light" Community School near Debre Birhan, Ethiopia.
Cofounders Angelique and Colleen will tell the story of the community school and their plans post electrification. We will hear from Professor Fikeremariam Negash, the school's Project Manager, about all of the sustainable features of this UN designated model school for Ethiopia.
This event is for everyone, especially supporters of sustainable electrification, solar industry pros and manufacturers, potential volunteers, donors and sponsors, and people generally curious about what it takes to create an inclusive school for 4,000 kids and community members.
At the conclusion of the event, we will share ways for folks to get involved to support this project and this work.
