Volunteering Needs

We appreciate your interest in helping further our mission at the Children's Museum of Illinois!

We currently have 3 key areas of volunteering needs. They are as follows:

Front Desk

We are in need of individuals who would love to greet our Guests and help them with any general information.

This would involve operating the front register, admitting Guests, and answering calls.

Guest Services

We are in need of individuals who would enjoy helping keep our museum exhibits ready for play.

This would involve interacting with Guests, resetting exhibits, and light cleaning.

Outdoor / Maintenance

We are currently looking for individuals who would enjoy maintaining our exhibits and keeping our grounds in great condition.

Depending on your particular interest, this could involve helping repair exhibits or mowing / maintaining our grounds and lawn.
