Holiday Co-Op Application - 2023

ABOUT:
The Holiday Co-op is open November 24th through December 23rd on Fridays & Saturdays from 11am-8pm, and Sundays from 11am-5pm. Artists who work a shift during the Co-Op will have their $30 table fee refunded. Waterloo Arts keeps a 30% commission on all sales.

Shifts:

Fri/Sat: 10:30am-2pm, 1:30-5pm, 4:30-8pm

Sun: 10:30am-2pm, 1:30-5pm

Important Dates:

Deadline for submissions is Sunday October 15th at 11:59pm.
Notification of acceptance by end of day on Monday October 23th.
Payments for table fees due Wednesday, November 1st. This confirms your participation in the event.
Shift Sign-Up begins at the time of notification and shifts must be selected by November 18 (the sooner the better!)
Drop-off and Installation will take place Friday and Saturday, November 17th and 18th at the gallery from 12-4PM. Inventory due at drop-off!
Deinstallation and pick-up/closing reception of remaining wares is Saturday, December 23rd from 5pm-6pm. (Closing early at 5pm final day, Saturday Dec. 23rd)

What does it cost to be a vendor?
Artists and vendors can apply for tables with the opportunity to have their fee refunded in exchange for staffing the shop. Upon acceptance, vendors will secure their space by paying the $30 fee. Additionally, Waterloo Arts will take a 30% gallery commission on all sales to cover operational costs.

What else do I need to know?
Cash and credit transactions will be accepted through our Square POS. Artists/vendors will be paid their sales amount (minus the 30% gallery commission) after the close of the Holiday Co-Op.

All accepted vendors will be given 2 x 3 ft of table space. Wall space is also available.

All goods are required to be tagged with the artist/studio name or initials, item, and price. More specifics regarding labels will be provided upon acceptance.
