Registration deadline: August 23, 2024
The HYS Members' Show is open to all current HYS Members, 16+ years of age.
Accepting works in the following mediums:
• Paintings, drawings, and mixed media.
• Photography
• Sculpture
• Ceramics
• Fiber Arts
This is not a juried show and you do not need to be a proffessional to participate.
ENTRIES
You may up to 3 original pieces of artwork.
2-D works must be suitably matted and framed, and equipped with wire for hanging.
Gallery wrapped canvas is fine without a frame as long as the sides are painted.
Pedestals will be provided for 3-D works.
SALES
Historic Yellow Springs will receive a 35% commission on all artwork sold. Having your work for sale would be appreciated but is not required to participate in the show.
INSURANCE
You must provide your own insurance coverage for all artwork entered in the show. While reasonable care will be taken handling all artwork, HYS will not be held responsible for loss or damage.
INVENTORY SUBMISSION
After you have submitted your registration form, a confirmation email will be sent with a link to submit your inventory via an online form. Deadline for inventory submissions is August 30, 2024.
ARTWORK DROP OFF
Drop artwork off at the Lincoln building on Monday, September 9, between 10 am - 3 pm. Artwork will not be accepted after drop off date.
SHOW DATES
The Show opens Saturday, September 14 and runs through Sunday, September 22 • 10 am – 4 pm.
ARTWORK PICK UP
Pick up artwork at the Lincoln building on Tuesday, September 24, between 10 am and 3 pm.
