By any measure, New Heights had an outstanding year in 2017 with several of our programs now offered directly in the classroom during the school day. These programs include opportunities in both STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) and Adventure.
We have also expanded our program footprint to include work with some of the most at-risk youth in our region through a teen suicide prevention program, which is funded by Exeter Hospital. This program represents a multi-year initiative in which we collaborate with key agencies to develop a referral network for services and support that may be accessed by youth and families in crisis.
We are not an afterschool program. We are an extension of the education system, and we are wherever kids and families need us to be: libraries, housing authorities, in the classroom, or in your neighborhood. Since 1987, we have served youth and their families. With your support, we can continue to serve more kids, as a big part of what we do is remove barriers through financial assistance packages to those who would not be able to access our services otherwise.
It takes a village to support kids in today's society where substance misuse, cyber-bullying, and suicide are not data points, but realities right here in our beautiful Seacoast community. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of youth that need adult mentoring and outside support. We are tracking outcomes, and our programs are building skills in youth that research demonstrates are critical for future success as adults.

Your gift will help us continue to evolve our programs to make a meaningful difference in young people’s lives and provide opportunities that meet community needs. Let's work together.
Thank you for your friendship and support.
