Know Your Fuels, Know Your Fire Fall 2022 Workshop

A workshop with Heather Heward from the Idaho Prescribed Fire Council

Intent: Provide landowners and managers training to understand their current fuel conditions and the ability to measure change after treatment.

Agenda: at each location participants will meet the local land manager and hear about the goals and objectives of a fuels treatment project. We will talk through the process of how to set up a plan for monitoring and review the methods for photo point, fire behavior fuel model selection, fuel loading, and basic stand measurements. We will then collect data, compile it and share it with the land manager.
