Documentary showing of Going Circular, presented by Patagonia and Home ReSource
Patagonia and Home ReSource invite you to a free showing of Going Circular, a documentary from the producers of the Academy Award-winning documentary My Octopus Teacher. Following the screening will be a panel discussion with leading experts on sustainability and the circular economy, along with audience Q&A. The event is a relevant, critical discussion about creating a global paradigm shift that bends the line of the take-make-waste linear economy toward a circular economy of reduce, reuse, repair, repurpose, and recycle.
Home ReSource is the Missoula nonprofit working toward a sustainable community for our Planet, People and Economy. Its numerous programs, including a building materials reuse store, Zero Waste education and workforce development, lead the effort to create a circular economy in our region.
The last line of Patagonia’s mission statement is “…use business to inspire and implement solutions to the environmental crisis.” Every year, Patagonia has donated one percent of its sales to grassroots environmental organizations. Recently the Chouinard family, Patagonia's founder, launched $20 Million and Change, an internal fund to help like-minded, responsible start-up companies bring about positive benefits to the environment.
