Help Create a Holistic Grazing Planning App

Roots of Resilience and PastureMap are teaming up on a grant application to create a holistic grazing planning app. We want reduce the time and effort required for grazing planning. To streamline the planning process. To make it more fun and interactive than two-dimensional spreadsheets. We want to make holistic grazing planning more accessible to more ranchers.

But we can’t do it without your help. We need feedback from actual ranchers and holistic management practitioners to create an app that will be truly useful. We also need support from agencies and individuals who work with ranchers. The app will only be successful if we get input from actual ranchers who will use it.

With your help we can create a grazing planning app that will help you and other ranchers better plan for optimum recovery time and plant growth. And increase the health and productivity of your land and livestock.

We need 50 ranchers to sign up as volunteer field testers by December 23 to meet our grant deadline.

Field testers will get to use the beta test version of the PastureMap grazing planning app at no charge during the grant period. You will be able to try out new features as they are added. You will be able to give us feedback. We will make improvements based on your feedback.

The grazing planning module will be web based. You will need Internet access. You can use any browser. You do not need a smart phone or tablet to test the grazing planning modual. A smart phone or tablet is required to access some other features of PastureMap.

Your practical experience and expertise as a rancher will make this project a success. Without your valuable input, this project will not be as successful. With your help, we can create a great grazing planning app.
