We want to reduce waste as much as possible. Please share with us your minimal approach to food sampling (If Applicable)

Applications are reviewed for acceptance and applicant will be notified by email as to application status and for payment details. Santa Cruz VegFest reserves the right to decline any exhibitor at any time, at its discretion.
Space will be reserved upon receipt of payment. Refunds of 100% will be provided to sponsors, exhibitors, and restaurants who submit written cancellation on or before March 1, 2024. Refunds of 50% will be provided to sponsors, exhibitors, and restaurants who submit written cancellation before April 1, 2024.
Booths must stay up and staffed until closing time. Food companies (sampling and/or selling) are recommended to bring a minimum of 3,500 free food samples. We had 5,000 attendees in 2019!
Booth spaces are 8' x 8'. Exhibit displays and signs must be on tables, freestanding, or attached to pipe and drape within the confines of the exhibitor booth.
Exhibitors are participating at their own risk. Exhibitors recognize that neither Santa Cruz VegFest, Vegan Outreach, Cocoanut Grove, or any of the other exhibitors, donors, volunteers, or participants of VegFest are responsible for any loss, damage, or mishaps to their materials, equipment, volunteers, or staff.
Exhibitors will not interfere with the safety, success, and effectiveness of VegFest. This includes, but is not limited to, behavior, display materials, literature, venue equipment, operations, or extending beyond exhibitor space and/or blockage of public passageways. Exhibitors may not solicit/sample to/or petition attendees beyond the confines of their booth.
Electricity is by pre-arrangement only.
Cooking can be done with equipment that does not have an open flame. Use of sternos are fine if used in chaffing dishes.
All garbage, recycling, and compost must be placed in appropriate containers in accordance with Cocoanut Grove. Please help us to create a minimal waste event!
Samples and sales are welcome as approved by Santa Cruz VegFest and must be vegan (no honey, milk, whey, butter, eggs, gelatin, beeswax, leather, wool, silk, or other animal products). Literature may not include suggestions, recipes, or references to using animal-based ingredients and/or products for consumption.
I have read, understood, and agree to uphold the above terms for Santa Cruz VegFest, to be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Cocoanut Grove at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.
