One moment please...

MLK Day of Learning and Service
Monday, January 15
1:00-2:30 p.m.
Owings Mills JCC (Teen Lounge)
3506 Gwynnbrook Ave, Owings Mills

Having difficult conversations with others can be hard, no matter your age. Join with other 3rd - 6th graders and their families in thoughtful discussion around an episode of the TV show “Black-ish.” Together, we’ll explore what it means to make assumptions and have others make assumptions about us. Esteemed educators from the greater Baltimore community will share the role in which micro-aggressions have in our lives and how we can use Jewish values and the power of community to combat hate and bias. Service learning hours will be available.

We welcome participants of all abilities. If you need special accommodations or have any questions, please contact Jodi Teitelman.
