Crosby Landing Birding Field Classes:
Discovering Birds of Beach and Bay

  • Tuesday, Nov. 19th (8-10 a.m.)
  • Tuesday, Nov. 26th (8-10 a.m.)

Led by naturalist Peter Trull.

Sponsored by Harwich Conservation Trust and Brewster Conservation Trust, join naturalist Peter Trull at Crosby Landing in Brewster to discover the birds of beach and bay. Explore salt marsh, creek, and dune habitats, then wander the shoreline in search of year-round and seasonal bird species. Possible sightings include horned larks, American pipits, northern harriers, and more through the upland habitats, plus brant, sea ducks, and gulls in Cape Cod Bay.

This walk will build your identification skills and teach about a variety of species, including their interrelationships across different habitats. Birding enthusiasts from all experience levels are welcome.
