From the Archives - Excerpts from Performances Past

The Poets' Theatre was founded in 1950 and has been bringing poetic drama to Cambridge, Boston, and beyond ever since. Join us on a trip back in time as we present highlights from our history!

Frank O'Hara, William Alfred, Fanny Howe, Lloyd Schwartz, Mary Manning, Bunny Lang, and Alison Lurie all lent their voices to The Poets' Theatre over the years, experimenting with the nature of poetic theatre and working out of small and unconventional spaces. Sound familiar? Come see our past and become a part of our future.

Monday, 1/18. Doors open at 6:45, performance begins at 7:15.
All ages welcome; $10 admission fee.
