Military Connections - Program Descriptions and Interest

Thank you for your interest in Military Connections at Dreams on Horseback! Below you will learn about the suite of programming that is offered for our service members and veterance, and, in some cases, their family members.

Service Members, Veteran, and Family Programming:

Military Horse Connections for Service Members and Veterans. Participants will enjoy a ground-based, group interaction with our horses. By participating two Monday evenings each month from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., you will find your confidence growing as you learn to work with our horses. You may also develop new friendships with others who are serving or who have served. This program is hosted by professionals who are trained in methods that will challenge and support you as you discover truths about horses and yourself. You are welcome to bring your spouse or significant other with you.

Women Warriors. Just for female service members and veterans.  Come to the barn for a relaxing experience with our horses. Enjoy the sanctuary of a barn, connect with others who have shared your military experience, and maybe learn something about yourself.  Dreams on Horseback's Women Warriors program was designed with you in mind.  This group meets two Monday evenings each month, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Please note: for the safety of our horses, there is a 200 pound weight limit for riding.
