Using Music As A Prompt For Writing

The class explores the use of music a prompt for inspired thought expressed through poetry or prose. It will include music by recorded artists and original music composed by the facilitator to stimulate writing ideas for poetry and other genres.

Instructor: Vince Robinson is a multi-genre artist, having given time to evolving in music, the visual imagery of photography and the magic of words in poem and song. In addition to poetry, Vince has written for several publications beginning with The Spectrum at KSU to Eschelon Magazine and Crusader Arts and Entertainment. He is currently a writer for the East Side Daily News in Cleveland, Ohio and is a contributor to CAN Journal.

Details: Using Music As A Prompt For Writing with Vince Robinson is a four-week course which takes place Tuesdays Aug 25-Sep 15 from 7-8:30pm remotely through Zoom. Register and we will send along information about how to connect via Zoom.
