The family of former Los Angeles Times and Chicago Tribune photographer Anne Cusack Derk has established the fund in honor of Anne to benefit the photography efforts at the Illini Media Company -- the owner of the Daily Illini, the independent campus news organization at the University of Illinois.
Anne started her career at the Daily Illini in the 1970s, and she treasured her experience throughout her life. It is an honor and privilege to continue Anne's legacy with future student photographers, videographers and designers at the Illini Media Company.
