Van Scott Nature Reserve - Request Form for Group Use of Property

The Delaware Highlands Conservancy’s 144-acre Van Scott Nature Reserve offers passive recreation opportunities for the community, our members, and partners. In an effort to coordinate use of the space and properly host visitors to the property, we request the following information so we can best accommodate your group of 10 or more. Guests are asked to kindly follow the Reserve Rules.

Please submit your group requests at least 30 days prior to your desired event date.

(Due to limits on parking, we ask that groups encourage carpooling or limit the number of guests. The parking lot accommodates 14-16 cars total.)

How do you plan to promote your group event?

We appreciate being able to interact with our partners and their guests by welcoming them upon arrival whenever possible. Our Education staff are also available to lead or join trail walks. Please indicate here how we can best participate in your visit.

Future infrastructure planning and grant funding depends on data collection and feedback from our guests. We appreciate if your group members visit our trailhead kiosk to provide comments and their contact information. Guests are also encouraged to post photographs from their visit to #VSNR and #DHConservancy.

Thank you for submitting your request. Our staff will review this request and contact you within approximately 5 business days to discuss your event. Please do not promote your event before receiving a confirmation that your event has been approved. The Conservancy reserves the right to deny group events due to group size, conflicts with another event, conflicts with the Reserve Rules, or at the Conservancy’s discretion.
