Conference Breakout Proposals 2021

Thank you for your interest in presenting at the Teen Pregnancy & Prevention Partnership's annual conference.

Date: August 13, 2021 (tentatively)

Location: Virtual

Submission Deadline: Monday, February 8, 2021 at 5:00 pm (CST).

Due to the uncertain nature of scheduling events in 2021, the TPPP Annual Conference Committee is requesting that interested breakout presenters share their interest and preferences for our 2021 conference. The event is being planned as a virtual event and the committee remains flexible on the scheduling in order to respond to the needs of the community. We hope you will consider presenting regardless of where you live or work. Our audience is primarily from Missouri and other Midwest states.

The committee is open to breakout proposals on all aspects of adolescent sexual health with an eye to the future. We are especially interested in breakout presentations that focus on innovation, resiliency, and equity in the following areas and others:

  • Parent Engagement
  • Diversity and Inclusion in Sex Education
  • Healthy Relationships
  • Consent Education Outside the Classroom
  • Community-Level Strategies for Adolescent Sexual Health
  • Effective Advocacy for Adolescent Sexual Health

The Planning Committee would also like to be flexible and responsive to the needs of our speakers. We hope you will use this form to give the Committee a basic idea of what you would like to present and what dates and times you might be available. More detailed information will be requested from speakers who are invited.

You will be contacted by February 26th about your proposal.

All breakout presenters receive complimentary conference registration.

If you have additional questions or would like to explore your breakout proposal with a conference committee member, please contact Meg Boyko, TPPP Executive Director at executivedirector@teenpregnancy-mo.org.
