Join us in-person at the 2024 Deathcare Superconference: Building Bridges in the Deathcare Landscape from September 27-29, 2024! This event is being held at the Seattle Public Library, 1000 Fourth Ave. Seattle, WA 98104.

The goal of this event is for alternative deathcare and funeral care providers to share resources and have high-level conversations about what we want the future of deathcare to look like, from death doulas to hospice to home funerals to green burials and alternative disposition options to protecting consumer funerary rights.

Professionals within deathcare and adjacent fields will congregate to listen and discuss topics relevant to alternative dispositions, consumer protections, professional regulations, environmental impact, and more. Event schedule coming soon.

AUDITORIUM: Our auditorium seating offers a same-room experience with our speakers, with projection screens and amplified sound for an enhanced experience. There is limited wheelchair space in the front row.

BANQUET ROOM: Our conference table seating offers the amenities of a table and straight-backed chairs, with our speakers viewable on screen with amplified sound. Q&A interaction with our speakers will be made possible through our virtual Q&A platform (more info coming soon). Wheelchair seating is available at each table (we'll remove chairs as needed).

Examples of typical requests include sign language interpretation, description of visuals, closed captioning, or access to a quiet space. Our venue, the Seattle Public Library, has accessible restrooms and meeting rooms, designated accessible parking spaces, automatic doors at all main entrances, and elevator access to all levels, with verbal cues at each floor at the Central Library.
