Ossipee Mountains Geology

Bob Newton, Professor Emeritus of Geosciences at Smith College, will share his knowledge of the unique Ossipee Mountains geology.

We will convene at the Tuftonboro Free Library for an indoor presentation.

There is an option to join the field trip component for which space is limited.

We will then travel 5 miles to the Camp Sentinel ledges.
This walk is approximately 0.5 miles from the parking area and climbs approximately 200 feet over ledges.

Please indicate below if you will be attending the indoor presentation only or if you will be joining the field trip as well.
