2022 Caring for the Farm Body Registration

Sliding scale fee, $0-40:

We welcome and encourage people who identify as BIPOC to pay option 1 (free).

Also consider paying option 1 (free) if you...

  • have difficulty affording your basic needs such as food, transportation, medical care, and childcare, and/or don’t always manage to meet these needs
  • are unemployed or have a low income
  • receive public assistance

Consider paying option 2 (reduced fee, $15) if you...

  • can typically afford your basic needs but have little expendable income or savings
  • have significant debt or medical expenses not covered by insurance
  • are supporting children or have other dependents
  • are a senior on a limited, fixed income

Consider paying option 3 (full fee, $35) or 4 (full fee + donation, $40) if you...

  • can comfortably and consistently afford your basic needs
  • own the home you live in
  • have personal savings, investments, retirement accounts, or inherited wealth
  • travel recreationally
  • have access to family money and resources in times of need
  • have a relatively high degree of earning power due to level of education (or gender and racial privilege, class background, etc.) Even if you are not currently exercising your earning power, we ask you to recognize this as a choice
  • would like to contribute towards programs at Groundswell including supporting costs of childcare, transportation, interpretation, and sliding scale options

If you're driving, are you able to offer a spot in your car to someone who needs transportation? This improves access and helps avoid issues with our very limited farm parking. By checking yes, you're consenting to us listing your name, email, and general location in the carpool list in our welcome email for the workshop group.
Do you need any of the following?

Please list the full names and ages of children (4 years and older).

Please list the address you will need transportation from if it isn't the same address as above. We will facilitate carpooling among participants.

We will be in touch with you soon in response to these needs, and you can email kimberly@groundswellcenter.org if you have questions.

Please list allergies and restrictions, and any medical issues you'd like the instructors to be aware of.
Groundswell collects demographic information to monitor progress in creating accessible and inclusive programming. We welcome you to check any of the following identities that apply to you:

Please let us know what you'd like to gain from the workshop, or if there are body regions or issues you'd like us to focus on.
