We are producing ten beautiful cedar benches to be handcrafted by artisans at The Joinery, and sited on the farm through 2025 (5 this year and 5 next year). These benches are available for dedication with a $7,500 donation. Each 5’ handmade cedar bench includes an 8” x 2” etched zinc plaque engraved with your customized message that describes the intent of the dedication. It is estimated that the longevity of each bench is 10 years. The bench will be eligible for replacement at that time. 

In addition, you can purchase a tree from our native tree planting list for $3,000 to add the equally desired shade on our otherwise wide-open acreage (tree options are matched to specific locations on the farm). Your donation includes the maintenance during the lifetime of the tree. If you are donating a tree without the bench, a customized plaque can be installed at the foot of the tree. 

These significant donations help support the production of the bench, increased access for recreation at the farm, and all of the programs offered here at the farm from education to food sovereignty.
