Tree Planting Address

Submit the address you intend to plant the tree. TTF uses this address to determine if the property falls into the Green Blocks: Lincoln Project Area.

Request your trees!

Green Blocks provides residents with a variety of trees that can meet a diversity of planting sites, tolerate the harsh urban conditions and provide beauty to a landscape. We provide both deciduous and evergreen trees, taking into consideration species that provide color, shade and diminish urban sounds. Please share with us your preferences regarding type and amount you're willing to receive. TTF staff will consider your preferences, evaluate the right-of-way planting site (between your property and the street), call 811 for utility locates and consider depaving for compacted planting sites. We cannot guarantee any trees.

Especially if your property is a corner lot. For example: 2 trees on s 40th street and 1 tree on Tacoma Ave s
There may be additional services available to make these sites more suitable for planting.
We will provide planting resources (videos, handouts) for everyone. TTF volunteers can only provide planting assistance on October 26th from 10-1pm. It is preferred that the resident is present during the planting but is not required.
We will provide supplies for you to water your new tree(s) and will send friendly reminders as well as tips and tricks.

I acknowledge that: I agree to allow the Tacoma Tree Foundation and its volunteers to deliver and/or plant one or more trees in the right-of- way adjacent to my home. I accept ongoing ownership and responsibility for the trees (i.e. watering and maintenance). Tacoma Tree Foundation, their volunteers and/or partners to deliver and may contact me about this program via email, phone, and/or mail. I agree to let Tacoma Tree Foundation request a utility locate for my property’s right-of-way. I will work with Tacoma Tree Foundation to arrange a tree delivery date, currently scheduled for the week of October 23rd.
This helps us understand how to best connect with members of our community.
We can share fliers or program resources with you.
