VOLUNTEER 2024 Family Events - Tee Off

If you're new to Jacob's Chance, welcome! We're so glad you're interested in volunteering. No prior experience is required to volunteer! We welcome volunteers 12 and up.

 

2nd Annual Tee Off 2024

 

Join Jacob's Chance and First Tee for an event hosted by the Richmond Flying Squirrels featuring a variety of adaptive golf themed games, activities, and a picnic dinner! 50 participants with disabilities and their families will have the chance to be introduced to a variety of golf themed activities, including running the bases of the Diamond during a game of golf baseball!

Volunteers will be paired 1:1 to assist participants throughout the event as needed, providing opportunities for socializing and making sure they have the BEST time!

Expect fun, laughs, and special guest appearances!

 

Date: Friday, September 20th

Event Time: 5:30-8:00pm (Volunteers arrive 5:00pm)

(Games from 5:30-7:15pm, and dinner from 7:15-8:00pm)

Location: The Diamond (3001 N Arthur Ashe Blvd, Richmond, VA 23230)

Ages: Open to participants ages 5-40

 

Stay for a free picnic dinner for golfers and volunteers from 12-1pm! dinner includes an assorted wraps box dinner with options of chicken salad, turkey, ham, or veggie. 

Soda and water will be available. Gluten Free option will not be available.
