Autism Spectrum Disorders: Diagnosis and First Steps with Dr. Chana Richter

The fourth in a series of discussions on resources for families with a child with special needs.

Dr. Chana Richter is a pediatrician at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders at Kennedy Krieger Institute, primarily focusing on new diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorders. Her current focus is bridging the gap to diagnosis of autism and initiation of supportive treatment, as well as identifying barriers to diagnosis. Dr. Richter received her Bachelors in Science from Touro University/Lander College of Arts and Sciences, and completed her Masters in Education and Special Education through Touro as well.
