Waterfall Keepers pledge to visit their waterfall quarterly to pick up trash and to file a report after each visit.

Waterfalls that receive very little visitation may be cleaned up every six months. Adopters who haven't visited their waterfall in more than a year will automatically be removed from the adopter list.

Please check the map on our website to make sure the waterfall is open for adoption. Since many waterfalls have the same name, please also provide a general location for the falls. If you don't know the name of the waterfall, please provide a more detailed description of its location. Please choose only North Carolina waterfalls, those that are located on public property, and those without restrictions on access.
