Fall songbird migration picks up this month, which means our bird walks are back! Join us as we seek out new arrivals each week while practicing our bird identification skills.

Presque Isle State Park

For All EBO Bird Walks:

• Registration Required. Each member of your party must register separately. 

• Event is *Rain or Shine* All walks run rain or shine unless weather conditions are too dangerous to safely be out or too poor for the birds to be out. For this reason, we do ask you to provide a way to text you as some decisions are made the morning of the walk.

• Unless otherwise stated, expect a Low Impact Walk on Trail/s.

• Dress for the weather. Presque Isle is frequently cooler than up on the mainland but sometimes warms up quickly during our walks, so layers are a good choice. Wear comfortable footwear that you don’t mind getting a little muddy.

• Unless otherwise stated, meet by the dirt lot near Thompson Circle Drive. This lot is found on the main road just past the road that takes you to Beach 11. (Coordinates: 42°09'60.0"N, 80°05'03.1"W).

• Please allow plenty of time to get to the meeting point. It generally takes about 30 minutes to get to this spot from the entrance of Presque Isle. Please obey the park’s speed limit.

• Open to Everyone, regardless of EBO membership status. We kindly ask that if you enjoy your walk with Katie that you consider a donation and/or becoming a member so we may continue to offer events like this in the future.
