Why Give an Outdoor Education Scholarship?
Your gift makes Outdoor Education possible for a middle school student who needs financial support to attend. California schools require students to pay, or fundraise, at least half of their Outdoor Education tuition. This is unattainable for students from low-income families. By California law, if one child cannot pay or raise their tuition, the entire class can’t attend Outdoor Education Your gift of $50, $100 or $150 CAN and WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE to a child for a life-changing outdoor science education experience.
Your gift of a scholarship will change a life, opening up the world of natural science to low-income and at-risk youth who might not experience Outdoor Education without your help.
