For 117 years, the Jewish Federation of Omaha has built and sustained a strong and vibrant Jewish community in Omaha and beyond. Today this mission is more critical than ever. While these are uncertain, challenging times, what is certain is that - together - we will meet the challenge.

Make calls or virtual visits to our community seniors?

As a way to prevent social isolation we want to connect volunteers with local seniors. Your role will be to check in every few days to say hello and keep their spirits up.

Run errands or pick up prescriptions for those in need?

For those who should not be exposing themselves to risk, would you be willing to help by pick up prescriptions or make grocery store runs

Help out with Passover to Go?

We will work with Chabad to get Passover boxes to those in need. Please let us know if you are able to help with packaging and delivery

Make cards and or treats/meals for community medical professionals?

Lets send some love to the people who are on the front lines helping to save lives. If you would like to create drawings/cards to share we with local hospitals, we will collect the drawing digitally and send onto our health care providers and first responders.

Would you like to sew masks for local medical care professionals?

Our health care professionals need masks, if you are able to sew please consider using some of your time and old fabric to create washable masks.
