Summer Youth Camp 2023 Volunteer Opportunities!

We have lots of wonderful ways for you to help plug in and help during our camp this year. Please be advised that some volunteer positions will require a background check and the attendance of our Youth Safety Training on July 6th at 7 pm (virtually) or July 9th at 2 pm (either virtually or in person).

Here are the descriptions of our volunteer tasks for the week of July 10-15, 2023!

Pre-Camp Space Ready	Help us set up the aerial rig, tighten bolts on the slide, ready for the campers!	Saturday, July 8: Time TBD
Camper Chaperone	Accompany campers through their day. Encourage fair conduct, support bathroom breaks, track kids till parents pick up	July 10-14, Mon - Fri: 9 am - 2 pm

Lunch Prep	prepare lunch for the campers, staff and voluteers	July 10-14, Mon - Fri: 10 - noon
Lunch Clean Up	clean up after lunch	July 10-14, Mon - Fri: 1 - 2 pm
Support from 2 to 5 - extended recreational activities…	accompany campers staying into the afternoon, with recreational or craft programs planned.	July 10-14, Mon - Fri: 2 - 5 pm
House Reset	Help us pick from the day, clean up crafts, resent the house	July 10-14, Mon - Fri: 5 - 6 pm
Saturday Space Prep	Help us ready for the big celebration for the campers	July 15, Saturday 1 to 3 pm
Saturday Event Clean Up	Help us clean up after the meal and celebration.	July 15, Saturday: 8 pm
Saturday Meal Support	The meal is only partially catered. Help cook and set out food	July 15, Saturday: TBD
Errands runner	There will be a few errands needed during the week	TBD - week of July 10-14
Monitor for high risk places: (slide and bathwing) in free times	Help us ensure that kids are treating each other and the facilities with respect	Noon to 1 & 1:45 - 2:15

I'm interested in being a volunteer support for the camp in the following ways

These volunteer roles require that we do background checks and provide our Youth Safety training and policy! If at all possible, we'd appreciate volunteers to sign up for the full week.

I can Chaperone a group of campers (M-F, 9am-2pm)

Lunch Clean-Up ( M-F, 1pm-2pm)

Support for afternoon recreation and activities, (M-F, 2 - 5 pm)

Monitor high risk spots during week such as slide and bath wing, (M - F, 12pm-2pm)

I can't commit for the full week, but I can volunteer on these days:
