Fall 2024 Literary Cleveland Class Scholarship

YOUR VOICE MATTERS

Literary Cleveland is committed to making all of our programs accessible to everyone, no matter their background or financial situation.

Thanks to our generous donors and funders, we are able to offer a limited number of scholarships to our classes and workshops.

Please apply for a scholarship if:

  1. You do not have the financial means to pay for all or part of the registration cost for the class
  2. You have a low income or limited resources
  3. You have the funds but can’t afford to use them for a writing class

NOTE: You can apply for scholarships this semester even if you have received one for a previous semester.

Don't reject yourself. Don’t stop yourself from applying because you don’t want to take the opportunity away from someone else who needs it more. Apply and let us sort that part out!

Scholarships are not just for writers who cannot afford a class, they are also for writers who have limited discretionary money or who have to budget very carefully. If you think you might have the funds to take the class sometime in the future but don’t at the moment and there’s a class that will fit into your schedule coming up: you should apply. If you get the scholarship, and then down the line find yourself in a better financial situation, pay it forward by donating to the scholarship fund at that time.

Eligibility

  1. Scholarships are limited to those currently residing in Northeast Ohio
  2. Please only apply once each semester
  3. NOTE: If you are applying for a scholarship for Developing a Writing Habit you must have taken the Intro to Developing a Writing Habit class first.

  1. Please complete this form by August 19 for all classes September-December 2024.
