Sacred Sites Tour

The Tour is led by Rev. Jim Bear Jacobs (Mohican). The tour offers an opportunity to learn about Minnesota history from a Native perspective through story-telling and experiencing the sites in silence/ mediation/ reflection. 

The Sacred Sites:

  • Fort Snelling State Park
  • Dakota Internment Camp following The Dakota-U.S. War
  • Pilot Knob Hill- a traditional burial ground.

Date: Sunday April 21st, 1pm-5pm

Location: Church of St Peter (outside by the big tree), 1405 Sibley Memorial Hwy, St. Paul
