Highland Games 2017 Volunteer Application

Thank you for volunteering at the Skagit Valley Highland Games!

Please use the form below to indicate the times and days you are available to help. We appreciate your flexibility in being willing to volunteer in various areas at various times of day. We'll send you an email before the Volunteer Orientation Meeting on July 6th assigning you to one of the three-hour shifts you requested. 

You can also indicate at the bottom of this form whether you are interested in helping both Saturday and Sunday or for more than one shift. We appreciate all the help we can get and are grateful for the hard work and positive attitudes of our many volunteers!

I agree to indemnify and hold Skagit Valley Highland Games, its sponsors, the Celtic Arts Foundation, the City of Mount Vernon, Edgewater Park and the City of Mount Vernon Parks and Recreation Department harmless from any and all losses, claims, actions and damages and expenses arising from the activities of the Skagit Valley Highland Games. I agree to allow the Skagit Valley Highland Games and the Celtic Arts Foundation to photograph or record my activities at the event(s) for promotional purposes. I understand that all volunteer applicants for the Skagit Valley Highland Games are subject to background checks with the Washington State Patrol. Information provided to the Celtic Arts Foundation from the State Patrol will remain confidential. The Celtic Arts Foundation reserves the right to terminate any volunteer for any reason. I understand that if I fail to report for my shift or do not complete it in its entirety, I will need to forfeit my complimentary pass or reimburse the Celtic Arts Foundation for its cost.
