River Clean Up Waiver - Adult

This Release and Waiver of Liability (Release) executed on this date by the participants named below releases the Little Miami Watershed Network (LMWN), a nonprofit corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Ohio and each of its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents. It also releases the following sponsors: Greene County Parks & Trails, RiversEdge Outfitters, Bellbrook Sugarcreek Park District, and ODNR Division of Natural Areas and Preserves Scenic Rivers Program SW, referred to as Associated Sponsors in this document, and their respective directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents.

1. Waiver and Release: I, the participant, release and forever discharge and hold harmless LMWN and Associated Sponsors and their successors, and assign from any and all liability, claims, and demands of whatever kind or nature, either in law or in equity, which arise or may hereafter arise from the services I receive from to LMWN and Associated Sponsors. I understand and acknowledge this Release discharges LMWN and Associated Sponsors from any liability or claim I may have against LMWN and Associated Sponsors with respect to bodily injury, personal injury, illness, death, or property damage that may result during my participation in the Little Miami River Clean Up
2. Insurance: Further I understand LMWN and Associated Sponsors do not assume any responsibility for or obligation to provide me with financial or other assistance, including but not limited to medical, health or disability benefits or insurance of any nature in the event of my injury, illness, death or damage to my property. I expressly waive any such claim for compensation or liability on the part of LMWN and Associated Sponsors beyond what may be offered freely by LMWN and Associated Sponsors in the event of such injury or medical expenses incurred by

Medical Treatment: I hereby Release and forever discharge LMWN and Associated Sponsors from any claim whatsoever which arises or may hereafter arise on account of any first-aid treatment or other medical services rendered in connection with an emergency during my participation in the Little Miami River Clean Up with LMWN and associated Sponsors.
4. Assumption of Risk: I understand that the event I participate in is on a river and may include activities that could be hazardous to me including, but not limited to death, drowning, injuries working with and getting into or out of watercraft or maneuvering watercraft along fallen trees or debris in the ever-changing riverscape, exposure to possible pathogens in the water, and any unknown objects resting on the bottom of the river, along with the hazards of walking on uneven and unpaved terrain used get to the river, picnic site, or parking lot, etc.
5. Photographic Release: I give to LMWN and Associated Sponsors all rights, title, and interests in any and all photographs or recorded images of me made by LMWN and Associated Sponsors in connection my participation.
6. Other: I agree this Release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Ohio and this Release shall be governed and interpreted by Ohio I agree that if any clause or provision of this Release is deemed invalid, the enforceability of the remaining provisions of this Release shall not be affected.
