Gazing into the Looking Glass: An Exploration into Speculative Fiction

This 6-week workshop will empower us to gaze into the looking glass of inspiration to discover what moves us. We will also think deeply about how our superpowers--our life experiences, perspectives, and areas of expertise--can shape and inform our writing. Speculative fiction will be the backdrop to our exploration. We'll examine craft and generate new speculative fiction of own through weekly writing prompts and sharing our works in progress.

The goal is that we find the courage to embrace our unique perspectives to craft work that is true to our authentic selves.

Instructor: Antoinette M. Wiley is a writer, editor, writing coach, and foodie based in Cleveland, Ohio.
