Campaign Goal

We are working to conserve 1,300 acres in the headwaters of the Mattole (the Van Arken watershed). Since we launched the campaign to save Van Arken in October 2016, we have raised over $670,000!

But we still need your support today. Every dollar helps!

A local landowner came up with the idea of "funding an acre" for $5,500. Many people have come forward to fund an acre, either all at once, or pledging to do so over the next 5 years ($1,100/year). We encourage you to do the same and reach out to your friends and family to become a part of the Fund an Acre Family.
