Youth Expressive Arts Therapy

Come learn to use art and music, movement and yoga to better understand yourself, your emotions, thoughts, and learn skills to support your wellbeing and mental health! We will deepen our understanding of and connection to ourselves through expressive modalities that will help us to increase mindfulness, regulate our emotions increase our tolerance to stress, and improve our communication in relationships. By the end of our eight circles together you will have a greater competence in identifying and labeling your emotions and dealing with them in more effective ways

Workshops will be held at the Springville Museum of Art.

Participants must be a current high school student living in Springville, Utah. 

This program is supported by Springville PAR funding. 

Pre-register only by September 9th, 2024. Space is limited to 16 participants.

Waiver and Release of Liability

By registering for Youth Expressive Arts Therapy at SPRINGVILLE MUSEUM OF ART, I declare that I am in good physical condition and have no disease or injury that would be aggravated by participation in activities related to Youth Expressive Arts Therapy at SPRINGVILLE MUSEUM OF ART. I understand the art program provided by SPRINGVILLE MUSEUM OF ART as well as understand the inherent dangers and the possibility of not reasonably foreseeable risks involved with my  participation in these programs including the risk of personal and bodily injury and damage to myself and my property while participating in these programs. I further understand and acknowledge that participants in such programs are not covered under insurance of SPRINGVILLE CITY or SPRINGVILLE MUSEUM OF ART. I hereby give my consent and authorize and grant permission to representatives of SPRINGVILLE CITY and SPRINGVILLE MUSEUM OF ART to administer first aid and/or to obtain emergency medical care or treatment from any licensed physician, health care professional or hospital. I freely and voluntarily execute this release and with such knowledge, assume the risk of personal injury and/or property loss arising from or in any connection with my participation in art programs offered by SPRINGVILLE CITY AND SPRINGVILLE MUSEUM OF ART.

I hereby release and forever discharge SPRINGVILLE CITY and SPRINGVILLE MUSEUM OF ART and any and all agents of SPRINGVILLE CITY and SPRINGVILLE MUSEUM OF ART from any and all liability, claim, cause of action, demand or damages from injury, damage or loss of any kind to myself and my property as a result of my participation in any art programs of SPRINGVILLE MUSEUM OF ART. I further waive, release, absolve and agree to indemnify and hold harmless SPRINGVILLE CITY and SPRINGVILLE MUSEUM OF ART as a result of my participation in any educational program sponsored by SPRINGVILLE MUSEUM OF ART. I understand that should I become a disruptive force during the educational program that the instructor may choose to release me from the program.

Photo Release Waiver

During Youth Expressive Arts Therapy, staff may take pictures of your group for use in our advertising, collateral or marketing materials.  By signing this agreement you give permission for Springville Museum of art to photograph participants for use in publications and advertising. All photographs remain the property of the Springville Museum of Art. 

 

Additional Registration

By attending Youth Expressive Arts Therapy you will need to be registered as one of Kalli Kronmiller's clients. She will reach out for additional registration and onboarding information.
