One moment please...

Hey YA! Free In-Person Young Adult Literature Panel & Book Swap

Join us for our first in-person event of the year on Wednesday, June 23 at 6:30pm at the CPL outdoor reading garden for a free book swap and panel discussion about why reading YA literature matters.

The event begins at 6:30pm with a book swap. For every book you bring, you'll receive a raffle ticket that will allow you to exchange it for another book. This is a great chance to re-gift some books you no longer want and pick up some new-to-you summer reads.

At 7pm, YA novelist Echo Brown, teen writer and editor Anthony Koonce of Lake Erie Ink, and Brittney Rzucidlo of America SCORES Cleveland will discuss the rise of YA literature, why the genre matters, and how reading YA lit can change your life no matter how old you are.

This event is part of Cleveland Public Library's Summer Lit League and is presented with Literary Cleveland, Lake Erie Ink, and America SCORES Cleveland. The Cleveland Kids Book Bank will be in attendance as well to distribute children's books for free.

Note: This in person event takes place outdoors. The library kindly asks that everyone remain masked and keep a safe distance. Please be respectful and let's have fun!

Details: Hey YA! takes place Wednesday, June 23 from 6:30-8:30pm at the Cleveland Public Library Eastman Garden, outdoors between the library buildings on Superior Ave.
