Outdoor Educators

We're looking for some awesome folks to help with educational programming at Idler's Rest and other properties across the Palouse.  Thanks to generous funding from the Laura Moore Cunningham Foundation and the Idaho Forest Products Commission the Palouse Land Trust is ready to take the next step in community conservation with nature programming to connect with youth in our region.  We are currently in the development stage of this initiative and there is great flexibility in format, content, and activities.  

If you're eager to share your knowledge and expertise to inspire the next generation of conservation leaders, please fill out the fields below and we'll contact you as soon as possible.  We are looking for folks who love working with youth, and have experience in the following fields:

  • Forestry and trees

  • Local wildlife, birds, and/or insects
  • Native plants, flowers, and shrubs

  • Conservation
  • Dryland agriculture
  • Native Palouse Prairie ecosystem
  • Leave No Trace and Tread Lightly practices
