Revision: How to Polish Your Own Writing

Whether you're on your third or tenth draft, editing is a key component of producing high-quality work and getting a manuscript ready for submission. In this class, we'll explore tips and tools for editing your manuscript (essay, short story, or selection from a larger work), identify idiosyncrasies in your work, and find our own best practices. Instructor Lee Chilcote, a writer and editor, will also give you a crash course in grammar basics and share his own process. By the end of four sessions, you will leave with several polished pages and a clear plan for polishing the rest of your manuscript.

Revision: How to Polish Your Own Writing takes place Tue. 10/1, 10/8, 10/15 & 10/22 from 6:30-8:30p at Lakewood United Methodist Church (15700 Detroit Ave. Lakewood, OH 44107).
