CicLAvia turns 10 in 2020...and I'm celebrating a big birthday too! For my birthday, I'm asking you to support CicLAvia. We're a nonprofit that creates more and more open streets events every year, and we need your help to make even more amazing events happen, and to create permanent changes in our city's infrastructure.
CicLAvia transforms our city streets into temporary parks, bringing together Angelenos from within and between neighborhoods. We get people out of their cars so they can interact with their communities and each other, and we inspire ongoing behavior change. Because of CicLAvia, more of us walk and bike. More of us support local businesses, and more of us take Metro. All because we create an incredible fun day for LA.
I made a commitment to raise $2,500 during our CeLAbrate fundraiser season and I need your help to reach it!
How can you help? One of my birthday celebration options is "CeLAbrate," an all-ages CicLAvia fundraising brunch on February 2- please come! (More info here.) If I meet my goal, the whole event will sing "Happy Birthday" to me!
