Central Coast Forest Watch (CCFW) strives to protect and restore forest and watershed habitat in the Santa Cruz Mountains and the Sierra for the sake of the broader community, encompassing humans, plants and animals alike. We do so by providing the public with the tools, education and guidance to fight harmful logging and other practices, while encouraging community awareness of the value of forested ecosystems to wildlife, humans and planet earth. We work collaboratively with forest advocates, regulatory agencies, and local and state leaders to improve timber harvest regulation and in-the-field practices on private forestland.
