Join us for a walk through the Doug Rayner Wildlife Refuge on Fri., May 17, at 10 am with Peter McCalmont, President of the Doug Rayner Wildlife Refuge Management Committee. The Refuge is a 75-acre town-owned preserve along Hundred Acre Cove in Barrington. The terrain is gentle but may be wet or uneven in places, with some moderate inclines. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes or boots. The rain date is Sunday, Wed., May 22, at 10 am.
The walk will last about one and a half hours. All ages are welcome.
The Doug Rayner Wildlife Refuge is located at 111 George Street in Barrington, off Warren Avenue in Seekonk (near Four Town Farm). The parking area is near the white gate at the entrance to the Refuge.
