Thank you for signing up to volunteer at our May Day Celebration! This is a fun, family-friendly event taking place in Wright Park in Tacoma. Volunteers will be asked to help set up tables, the stage, A/V equipment, the May Pole, and help attendees assemble their flower crowns.
Please arrive at Wright Park by 5:00pm. We will be setting up in the middle of the park across from the Botanical Conservatory, between S. 3rd and 4th streets. Clean up is at 7:30pm and we should be totally out of the park by 8:00pm. You may be asked to lift and carry tables, equipment, and other objects - please let us know if you can't lift heavy items and we will find something else for you to do! We deeply appreciate all of our wonderful volunteers and the magic they bring to our community events.
