AABS MEMBERSHIP FORM

Membership in Association for the Advancement of Baltic Studies is open to anyone wishing to support the scholarly goals of the Association. Persons joining AABS need not be engaged in scholarly work.

AABS publishes the quarterly Journal of Baltic Studies. Subscription to the journal is included in membership dues. In addition, members receive reduced registration fees at AABS and CBSE conferences, an annual print newsletter, and four quarterly e-newsletters.

As of January 1, 2022, AABS membership year runs from January 1–December 31 (previously July 1–June 30). The 2021–2022 membership year was extended through December 31, 2022 at no additional cost to our members.

(Persons whose current primary affiliation is at an academic institution in Estonia, Latvia or Lithuania, Russia or CIS may join AABS at the Baltic membership rate)

Membership dues are not tax deductible as charitable contributions but may be deductible, depending on individual circumstances, as miscellaneous professional expenses. All donations to the Baltic Studies Fund and to AABS programs are fully deductible in the United States as provided by law.

Premium Memberships
Premium level memberships (Sponsor and higher) are suggested to members with annual incomes of US $75,000 or more. All amounts over and above the regular membership rates are considered donations and in the United States may be deductible for income tax purposes.

Family Rates
Each spouse is entitled to all privileges of individual membership but only one copy of AABS periodicals will be sent per family.
