Salmon Release Field Trips 2024 - Salmon in the Schools

Volunteer to help facilitate activities for elementary students to celebrate the release of the salmon they raised!

What dates are you able to volunteer?

Feel free to sign up for multiple days! Timing is generally from 8:30am-1:30pm but varies depending on the school bus schedule.

April 12th - Dungeness Fish Hatchery, Franklin Elementary

April 18th - HJ Carrol Park, Chimacum Elementary

April 19th - Dungeness Fish Hatchery, Jefferson Elementary

April 25th - HJ Carrol Park, Salish Coast Elementary

April 26th - Dungeness Fish Hatchery, Hamilton Elementary

Are you comfortable co-leading an activity with a small group of students?

Facilitator guides will be provided for you a week ahead of time for you to have time to review (they are short, sweet, and to the point!) and we will have time to review and answer any questions during the volunteer orientation before the students arrive.
