One moment please...

2023 Battle of the Lights Interest Form

The Joyful Battle of Lights was born from ONE family who contacted our organization about using their light display to collect donations for our organization and has grown into a way to involve light displays all across our area! Our organization, Worthdays, works all year long to spread JOY to those in our local foster care system while also meeting unmet needs and raising awareness. We often refer to our village of supporters as JOYMAKERS! Holiday lights are one of the most pure forms of joy and those who spend the time and resources to provide that joy for strangers are joymakers, too! This is how the idea of the Joyful Battle of Lights was born to use the JOY of holiday lights to raise money so that we can provide joy throughout the year to those impacted by the foster care system. It's an opportunity to join in with other light displays to magnify the joyful impact to even more people in our community!

Are you are a light fanatic that puts in tireless hours, time and resources to bring joy to friends, family and strangers? Could you get excited about being part of a friendly, joyful battle of lights to raise money for an organization that helps bring joy to kids in foster are throughout the year?

If so, here are the details:

- Worthdays will provide you a yard sign (that we will deliver) that has a specific QR code to your family/house's team fundraising page! You will place the sign somewhere in your yard that is most accessible to those looking at your lights. When someone scans your specific yard sign, it will take them to your fundraising page and they can make a donation. Each "team" will "battle" to see who can raise the most money! If you want to participate as a culdesac of a few houses, that will work as well. In those cases, one sign will be provided for the culdesac. If you are a local business that would prefer a tabletop sign for an indoor location, this can be accomodated as well!
