13th NWCC Wind Wildlife Research Meeting Scholarship Application

About the Scholarship: The biennial NWCC Wind Wildlife Research Meeting provides an internationally recognized forum for academics, researchers, conservation scientists, consultants, federal and state officials, NGO representatives, and wind industry professionals to share and engage on the latest science on risk and solutions for wind energy and wildlife. The meeting is organized and presented by the American Wind Wildlife Institute (AWWI). WWRM 2020 will be held virtually December 1-4. Learn more.

Eligibility: The scholarship allows higher-ed students to attend WWRM 2020 at no cost. The scholarship covers all-inclusive meeting registration, which provides access to on-demand presentations, live panels and sessions, a pre-meeting workshop, and the opportunity to learn about wind-wildlife science and interact with professionals in the field. Undergraduate and graduate students with an interest in renewable energy and wildlife conservation are encouraged to apply.

The NWCC Wind Wildlife Research Meeting is organized and presented by the American Wind Wildlife Institute (AWWI). AWWI is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, with a mission to facilitate timely and responsible development of wind energy while protecting wildlife and wildlife habitat.
