The Secret Gardens of Lake Forest Park Garden Tour is currently accepting submissions for musicians and plein air visual artists to participate in this year’s tour on Saturday, June 15, 2024.
The Secret Gardens of Lake Forest Park Garden Tour and Market is a cooperative effort between the Lake Forest Park Stewardship Foundation, the Friends of Third Place Commons, ShoreLake Arts, and the Lake Forest Park Garden Club. Proceeds from the tour and market help fund sustainable and creative projects that support the Lake Forest Park community and environment.
We invite you to join us at this much-loved event that brings garden lovers from across the region together to learn, gather ideas and celebrate gardens and art.
Plein-air artists will:
Work in one of six gardens from 9am-3pm, taking breaks as needed.
Receive an honorarium of $50, an invitation to the kick-off party on June 14, and a potential to show artwork at the ShoreLake Arts Gallery at the Town Center at Lake Forest Park.
Provide all needed materials including table and chair, unless available from garden owner.
